Asifabad District Collector K. Haritha directed officials to coordinate closely and conduct field-level inspections to ensure that applications received through the Prajavani programme are resolved at the earliest. She received petitions from citizens at the Integrated District Collectorate Complex on Monday along with Additional Collector (Revenue) M. David and District Revenue Officer Dasari Venu.
Several citizens submitted petitions seeking solutions to their grievances. Sonnayila Manasa of Janakapur requested a disability pension, while Sogala Komal of Ankushapur in Kagaznagar mandal sought measurement and boundary demarcation of her patta land located on the outskirts of Janakapur. Durgam Hanumanthu of Parsanambal village in Asifabad mandal requested issuance of a pattadar passbook for the land he has been cultivating.
Kampelli Ravinder of Kagaznagar town submitted a petition seeking a seat for his son in a residential school. S. Bhaskar Rao of Mancherial district requested pattadar passbooks for his lands situated on the outskirts of Laggam village in Dahegaon mandal. Former Rahapalli Gram Panchayat Sarpanch P. Srinivas sought clearance of pending bills relating to his tenure, while Syed Zubair of Chintaguda Koyavagu village in Kagaznagar mandal requested sanction of a disability pension.
The Collector said coordinated action would be taken by the concerned departments to ensure speedy disposal of all petitions received through Prajavani. Speaking to Mandal Parishad Development Officers through video conference, she said mandal-level Prajavani programmes would be conducted at MPDO offices in every mandal headquarters from Monday.
She explained that applicants could submit their grievances at the mandal level and seek resolution there itself. If an issue could not be resolved at the mandal level, applicants could subsequently submit their petitions at the Prajavani programme conducted at the district headquarters. She urged citizens to make full use of the mandal-level Prajavani programme to resolve their problems more conveniently and quickly.
