Medak
Bharatiya Janata Party Dalit leader Dommati Raju, a native of Tippanagula village in Nizampet mandal of Medak district, has been appointed as the BJP Medak district SC Morcha secretary.
The appointment was announced at a meeting held at the Medak district headquarters on Saturday. District BJP president Mallesh Goud presided over the programme, while district SC Morcha president Maskuri Balaraj handed over the appointment letter to Dommati Raju.
Speaking on the occasion, Raju expressed his gratitude to the BJP leadership for recognising his services to the party and appointing him as the district SC Morcha secretary. He said he would work dedicatedly for the strengthening and development of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
BJP State Council member Ragi Ramulu, District Kisan Morcha vice-president Kasarla Srinivas Reddy and other BJP leaders participated in the programme.
