Cases can be resolved through Lok Adalats without wasting time and resources, said District Judge and District Legal Services Authority Chairman Sudarshan. A Lok Adalat was organised at the District Court in Siddipet under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority.
Speaking on the occasion, Sudarshan urged litigants involved in civil and criminal cases to come forward for settlement through Lok Adalats. He said amicable settlements could provide a one-time resolution while also strengthening harmony between the two parties.
As part of the Lok Adalat, awareness was created about the Divyangjan Kaushal Vikas and Divyangjan Rojgar Setu programmes. Applications for pensions were received through the Welfare Department, while training and employment opportunities were facilitated through the Rural Development Department and R-SETI.
